Grandma's Attic

These were some "pin-up" style pictures my grandmother took when she was about 18 on the roof of her family's Manhattan apartment. Some were pretty badly faded, and it took awhile to get the details out.

Photo Colorization

This is a picture of a friend and her older brother from the 50's. The original needed some minor restoration from general wear and tear, but I decided to surprise her and give her a colored version as well. This was my first foray into coloring black & white photos.

Photo Retouching

This picture was taken during a trip to Venice. I removed the boats and construction and tweaked the colors just a bit. I was going for a more timeless feel.

Minor Restoration

This is the only existing picture of my mother as a baby. Photo circa 1959.
